Service Description

Put your dog’s nose to work! Private Scent Detection introduces your dog to the foundations of searching for a specific target scent. Unlike our Snuffle & Scavenger Hunt, where dogs freely search for food and explore sensory activities, this session focuses on teaching an actual scent detection skill. Depending on your dog’s experience, we may work on introducing the target scent, building motivation to search, finding hidden scent sources and developing a clear way for your dog to communicate when they have found it. No previous scent work experience is required. Sessions can build on one another, making this a great option for dogs who enjoy having a skill to practice and progressively develop. Suitable for dogs of all sizes.
