Hi, I’m Carlos! The founder and dog trainer at Pawblems Made Easy 🐾.
I’ve been around people who genuinely cared about animals for as long as I can remember. Even when I was young, I was the person bringing home injured animals I found outside and trying to figure out how to help them.
Dogs became a much bigger part of my life when I rescued Mila, a 6-year-old Bichon Frisé who had already been re-homed several times. Preparing to bring her home pushed me to learn as much as I could about dog behaviour, communication, training and what dogs need to feel safe and understood.
That eventually grew into helping other dogs and their families too.
Since 2017, I’ve worked with pet parents, rescues and foster homes, helping dogs of different ages, backgrounds and personalities while giving the people around them practical tools they can continue using long after our time together.
Pawblems Made Easy🐾
Pawblems Made Easy is a dog training business based in Mississauga and serving pet parents throughout the Greater Toronto Area, with virtual dog training available beyond the local service area.
I offer private dog training, group services, behaviour support, enrichment and other ways for dogs and their people to learn together.
Whether we’re working on puppy training, barking, leash pulling, reactivity, confidence, settling, social skills or something completely different, the goal is not simply to stop a behaviour.
I want to understand why it is happening, what your dog may be experiencing, what we can change to make things easier, and how we can help your dog make better choices without sacrificing their wellbeing or the relationship you share.
How I Approach Dog Training
Every dog is different, so the training should be too. I recommend services and training strategies based not only on your goals as a pet parent, but also on your dog’s personality, interests, comfort level and individual needs.
Everything I practise and recommend is force-free and reward-based. I believe in setting dogs up for success, creating environments where learning is possible, and helping them through difficult situations without forcing them beyond what they can comfortably handle.
That means no dominance-based methods, painful corrections or quick fixes at the expense of your dog’s emotional, mental or physical wellbeing.
Working with me should feel like having someone on your side who wants both you and your dog to succeed, while helping you understand what your dog may be experiencing and why.
Where I Work
Pawblems Made Easy is based in Mississauga, Ontario, and I work with pet parents throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
If you’re outside the local service area, reach out anyway. Depending on what you need, I may still be able to help or we can work together through a virtual dog training session.
