These drop-in sessions are designed for dogs who benefit from learning how to walk on leash while staying calm, thoughtful and connected to their pet parent around other dogs and people. All dogs will remain on leash unless advised otherwise. Each dog’s comfort and safety is always our top priority. All dogs must be up to date on their vet records. Dogs over 7 months of age must be neutered/spayed. This class is suitable for dogs who may bark on walks, pull, become overly excited, unsure, or struggle to stay engaged with their pet parent in stimulating environments. It is also a great fit for dogs who need help learning how to move through shared spaces calmly and give others space when needed. Rather than focusing on obedience or strict positioning, these sessions focus on helping dogs learn how to move through the world with awareness and guidance. We prioritize thoughtful decision-making, emotional regulation and clear communication between dog and pet parent. Dogs will work at their own comfort level and with distance adjusted as needed to ensure learning can happen without pressure or any kind of pain. All exercises are force-free, reward-based and designed to help dogs practice calm walking, recovery, and check-ins in real-life scenarios.
