We love layers and different types of surfaces! Layers can be a bit tricky for dogs when they can locate with their nose where the smell of treat is coming from, but after removing one layer, they might find themselves a little puzzled until they realize there's another layer or piece that they have to move aside before finally reaching their goal.
You can also spread some of your dog's favourite puree into the cavity that has pointy bits, so that your dog gets to also have fun using their tongue to lick every part of it!
Just like with other puzzles, the fewer food/treat pieces you have your dog work for at a time, the better. That way their success is based on their skill set, rather than a high probability of multiple pieces being everywhere.
