Some dogs have very cat-like instincts, especially when it comes to catching small prey. In this case, small treats! This introductory puzzle will require that your dog nudges every round piece aside, in order to retrieve every treat or piece of kibble they've used. You can also use their raw food (considering a good wash follows!).

The tricky thing about this puzzle can be that the pieces to move can feel slippery to the paw, and your dog may or may not need to rely on their nails to get a hold of and slide the pieces.

Pro tip: Once your dog has figured out this puzzle, wrap it in a towel, put it inside a cardboard box and bury it in your dog's toys so they have to jump in and dig, just to get to their puzzle!
